About the Campaign
Mish Waata (مش وقتها) is a campaign developed by the Gender Equality Group from the Governance Lab, supported by the British Council, in collaboration with UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (UNGCNL) and Out of the Box. The campaign pushes for protecting children’s rights and advancing #NotBefore18 / #مش_قبل18, using creative, youth-led advocacy tools that turn difficult conversations into constructive action.
Play easy as 1, 2, 3
Setup: Shuffle Tactics and Joker cards together into a Strategy deck. Each player (or team) starts with 7 cards. Next, shuffle the Scenario deck and place it face down in the middle of the playing area.
Gameplay: Players take turns responding to revealed Scenarios by playing up to 3 strategy (tactic or joker) cards, explaining how their moves impact the situation. Points are tallied each round.
Victory: The first player (or team) to win 5 scenarios claims victory, but the real win is the collective dialogue and awareness built during play.
Trivia cards included to give your break a micro recharge, before you go again!

Advocacy Through Play
The game has been piloted at the Lebanese American University (LAU) with contributions from the Arab Institute for Women (AIW), faculty members, and students. It has since been played in classrooms, student lounges, and advocacy events, bridging formal learning with community engagement.
Upcoming events and expansion plans include piloting at AUB, NDU, and partnerships with RDFL to take the game nationwide.
